The Négrette is an exclusive grape which is only cultivated on the terraces of Tam valley. The unique aspect of the Rouge Comte Négret is that it is immediately drinkable, but can also be kept for many years. This is the identification of quality.

The taste is strong and full, the color is deep ruby red. The Fronton Rouge Comte de Négret is a blend of 60 % Négrette, 30% Cabernet Franc (with fruity aroma's of cherry, black-berry) and 10% Syrah for the fine spicy bouquet.

The result is a delicious, fragrant, sun soaked, full wine to be served best at 15 to 16 degrees Centigrade. The robust structure and subtle tannins compliment red meat dishes, wild, pat or strong cheese very well.
